We’ve all heard of writing dates. Or, at least, filling the creative well? Julia Cameron, The Artist’s Way describes it best. Go for a walk, buy a doodad, go to the movies.

For me it’s hanging out with Angelina Evans. She writes for Ellora’s Cave and Changeling Press. Well, with the recession, the bookstore closed much earlier than we were prepared for and the nearby mall had closed even earlier. What are two friends to do?

Go watch The Proposal. What’s so funny is we didn’t realize from the previews they worked for a New York publisher and the movie would be peppered with the different aspects of publishing. Cute.

I loved it. And I have to say, Sandra Bullock is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.  Thank God she’s not a walking skeleton or that one scene would have been gross. Instead, she is curvy and womanly and gorgeous.
