NaNoWriMo Begins!

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

I tried NaNo last year and finished with just over 12,000 words. Awesome for me.  But this year I have high hopes for more. I am working on a young adult ghost story that is close to my heart.

I worked on this last year for NaNo and two days after Thanksgiving, my hard drive died. I have spent the last year updating all my backup options and, after finally rescuing my story, I’ve doubled the word count.

Now, I want to finish. :) Wish me luck!

Spokane Mystery Tours

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

The Inland Empire Tours arranges surprise day trips for seniors to see Spokane. Doesn’t this sound fun? Tomorrow I will be speaking about romances today. There are enough sub-genres to cover most any interests, but unless people are in touch online, it can be so hard to know what to find books beyond favorite authors we fell in love with years ago.

If you can make it, I look forward to seeing you. :)
