We have reached the end of November and now I have to look at my progress. Is that ever fun? Maybe if I’d “won” it would be.

I began the month with a bang. I was in the middle of a short story sequel to The Murder King’s Woman, tentatively titled The Summons. Or should it be The Murder King’s Summons? I also know I called it Murder Tales 2: The Summons. Titles can be such tricky bastards. LOL

So, I finished up The Summons and went back to my young adult, but that took a few days in which I fell behind and never quite caught up. I continued, forward progress is good, but I think I wrapped up the month around 15k, which is at least 3k better than last year, so I am actually pretty happy. I think a 50k month is still beyond me, unless I am rewriting and on deadline. Hmm.

I vow I will do better next year. Starting in January.
