Lucy Monroe - Moon Craving!

I recommend reading the excerpt. Wow! I am so excited at the mix of werewolves and highland Scotsmen and history! I haven’t seen quite that mix before. Scots and werewolves, Scots and history, but not all three. This book is so on my wish list! (Please forgive my excess exclamation points. I seem to have developed a joy in using them. LOL)

Children of the Moon Book 2

If it were up to him, Talorc—laird of the Sinclair clan and leader of his werewolf pack— would never marry. But when the king orders that Talorc wed an Englishwoman, the lone wolf is shocked to find his mate in the strong-willed Abigail. And after an intensely climactic wedding night, the two fiercely independent souls sense an unbreakable bond…
Deaf since childhood, Abigail hopes to keep her affliction from Talorc as long as possible. And for his part, he has no intention of telling her about being a werewolf. But when Abigail learns that the husband she’s begun to love has deceived her, it will take all of his warrior’s strength—and his wolf’s cunning—to win his wife back. And Talorc will have to face his biggest challenge yet: the vulnerability of a man in love…

Thanks so much for posting this, Jamie! I’m working on the next COTM book right now and have discovered that having a book out in the same series at the same time is uber inspiring. LOL I need to re-think my writing schedule for 2011. :)

  2. Jamie Leigh Hansen Says:

It sure is! Do you have a cover, yet? I remember just seeing my Cursed cover made me giddy and excited while finishing it up. :) Email me. I love talking writing schedules. Never make mine, but love planning them. :) LOL

Question… Is this book related to Moon Awakening? Cause if so, I need to make a trip to town… soon! :) Jamie, you keep adding books to my TBP list. PLEASE keep it up! hehehehe I want to know what it’s like to have a TBR pile. :D

  4. Jamie Leigh Hansen Says:

This is the second book to the series. :) Next I have a lovely interview with Lucy and I have a few new authors I’ve discovered. TBR piles are fun! I need to fix up posts for them. Then there’s Clash of the Titans. We really can’t wait. Craig’s afraid to watch it in 3D with me, because I jump and have been known to be the only person in the theatre who lets out a short, loud scream. LOL

I am so going to the bookstore! Ms. Lucy, may I say thank you from all those readers like Jamie and myself who are so excited we don’t have to make a choice in genres? :D

And Jamie, I’m looking forward to the interview with Lucy and seeing if any of the new authors you’ve discovered are any of the ones I’ve recently discovered. And Clash of the Titans. Yay! I have no words to describe how excited I am for that. It’s release date is the week of my birthday and I am so excited to be going. Matt usually doesn’t go to movies with me because we’re still in the ‘need a sitter’ years with the kids. Most of the time it’s one of my best friends who goes with me, but this time, my friend is watching the kids and Matt is taking me. Seven days and counting. :D

  6. Jamie Leigh Hansen Says:

Happy soon to be birthday! She’s a great friend to watch the kids. I hope you and Matt have a wonderful date. Those are important while the kids are young, to get you through all the hard work and busyness so when the kids are grown, you still have a great relationship. :)

Yes, Lucy, thank you for bringing such a great idea into the world. Writing takes so much time, effort and back pain and sometimes knowing it’s enjoyed by others is all that gets a writer through. Know we love and appreciate all your work! :)

  7. Daisy M Says:

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Just a few more days to go. :P And you are so right about dates when you have young kids. We used to go during the school day when Matt was working nights, but now he’s on days and finding a sitter some weeks is like the proverbial needle in a haystack! When my friend offered I was so excited. Leave it to a stay-at-home mom to count the days down to date night and completely skip the birthday count down. hehe

  8. Daisy M Says:

OOOO Ms Jamie! I went to see the movie last night. Ended up going alone, because Matt was sick, and I saw the 2D, but still! Can’t wait to chat about it!

  9. Jamie Leigh Hansen Says:

Awww, poor Matt. The family went on Easter Sunday. We saw the 3D version, and, honestly, you didn’t miss much. The credits looked cool floating on a sky, but the rest didn’t do a lot for me in 3D. I will write up my blogview soon and we’ll chat! :)
